Misc

Finished two projects recently. The hound dogs are recently deceased and were companions of a friend who helped us out with Be and Be's funeral and I wanted to thank him...

The Christmas stocking is for our now-two-year-old grand daughter...

I am working on a tiger for myself (for a change). I am having surgery to have a fistula in my arm, and will be getting ready for it (surgery's next Tuesday). It takes from 3 to 6 months to form and needs to be ready before surgery to have the kidney remnant removed, and will be used for future dialysis. I may post this week but may not if it gets crazy. I will get back to the blogging and blog visiting soon. Blessings...

Beautiful pillow and stocking! I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, that all goes well. Actually, you are always in my thoughts and prayers, even when you aren't posting.

Blessings, Friend.

Love your handi-work. Good job!

I had to Google "fistula" and I still don't really understand but I wish you well. Anything that requires surgery requires prayer. Praying the very best for you.

Good luck with all that miss! I don't know what a fistula is and I'm scared to look it up in case it traumatizes me for life, but I'm sure it's a positive thing and will be good for you and oh my, what a fantastic word. I feel like I want to say to people, "You'll do what I Say or you'll get a fistula in your face!" but I have a feeling it might be inappropriate, no? :)

I hope for you a quick surgery, and I'm sorry you have to have the last bit of your kidney out. Lovely projects, I need to start working with my hands again because I've been chewing and picking at my cuticles lately, nasty habit. Sending you healing, healthy thoughts and energy. Lois.

I have zero sewing skills beyond a button. I have to pay ridiculous amounts of money to have hems sewn up.
